"Through the Mist"
What intrigues me about bare trees is their candor. Because there are no leaves to disguise their form - they have shed their façade - they reveal their true nature. The honesty of leafless trees attracts my attention. Bare trees in the fog create a special mood. These three emerged through the fog in Cades Cove, Great Smoky Mountains National Park in the magical realm of early morning.
