| In addition to covered bridges, another icon of quaint
New England is the small country church. This one is located in West
Guilford, Vermont. To many of us they represent the simplicity and
purity of the early settlers. As I composed this shot and viewed the
neighboring cemetery, my mind filled with thoughts of all the early
settlers who had their spirits nurtured here and had walked these
grounds in years gone by. |
