| One of the most dramatic and vibrant flowers blooming in
spring in the Smoky Mountains is fire pink. It often grows on rocky
slopes. I think it does this to make it difficult for photographers. I
remember the struggle I had trying to keep my footing, set up the
tripod, and work the composition for this image. People driving along
Little River Road in Great Smoky Mountains National Park got a good
laugh as they passed by. |
